3 Ways To Improve The Look Of Your Café Without Plundering All Of Your Savings

high diningUpdating your café, bistro or restaurant image before it become stale is a necessary task, especially if you want to maintain the interest of your regulars, or entice new clientèle in. The problem is that keeping it looking fresh doesn’t come easy especially if you’re trying to do it without spending the budget equivalent to that of a small country. The good thing however is that it doesn’t always have to be this way, especially if you follow these three handy tips. So without further ado, let’s dive into the wonderful world of budget chic.

High Dining

A concept that’s becoming increasingly popular in many of the top café’s, restaurants and bistro’s around the world is high dining. The term ‘high dining’ doesn’t mean ‘high end’ food, although I’m sure the food served in your eatery is great, instead it literally means dining at height. There is a growing trend for extra high tables and chairs and in a café setting it adds a certain funky and contemporary dynamic. It also gives you a perfect opportunity to give your table plan a rethink.

Okay so a new set of high dining furniture doesn’t come cheap, but why not consider used furniture? Unfortunately eateries close all the time and this means that there’s always plenty of good quality used furniture around, so switch on your laptop and scour the used furniture market place. You’ll be surprised at what you can pick up, especially if you’re after a job lot.

Replacement parts

We’ve already stated that quality commercial furniture doesn’t come cheap, so rather than replacing every table, you might want to look at changing just the table tops or the table bases. Most tables these days are designed with interchangeable parts for this very reason and can make a huge difference to your furniture. What’s more, if you do some shopping around, there are a multitude of styles, designs and composites to choose from. “That’s all well and good” I hear you say…but what about your chairs? Clearly replacing all your seating isn’t going to be cheap unless you buy second hand stock (see above), but if your budget just isn’t going to stretch that far, then why not consider adding new accessories such as cushions or even look to recover your seat pads. It’s amazing how much of a change just adding some replacement parts can do to your room.

Accessorise

Small changes can make a whole load of difference so simply by changing something as simple as your colour scheme and accessories to match, it’s often enough to give the whole room a lift, but without spending a fortune.
